Calendars ready – FilmLab goes Love and Anarchy! The event will take place on 28. September at 6 pm WHS Teatteri Union and our guest for the evening is Swedish director and screenwriter Sanna Lenken.
Picture: Night Child (Sanna Lenken, 2018)
Sanna Lenken is one of the most interesting Swedish directors at the moment. Lenken rose to knowledge with her applauded debut film My Skinny Sister in 2015. At the FilmLab Lenken will talk about her approach on filmmaking and answer YOUR questions.
This evening we will concentrate on her latest film, Night Child (2018), based on a graphic novel by Hanna Gustafsson about 15 year old Iggy who lives a parallel life on Internet to escape her everyday life. When she meets her school’s photographer, they find out they both love hard rock and arrange to meet.
Swedish short films Gold (Abbe Hassan, 2017) and Tweener (Julia Thelin, 2018) will also be a part of the screening.
Free entrance to the discussion part, but we highly recommend that you come to the screening, so that you won’t miss out on anything.
The event is held in English.
